Rajasthan History Congress was established in 1967, with a vision to provide platform for young researchers who would utilize the vast hoard of source material available and create new history for Rajasthan. Rajasthan is a store house of Archival and Non- Archival material, which can help in creation of History and finding out new facts pertaining to the History and Culture of Rajasthan. With this vision, erudite historian like- Dr.Dashrath Sharma, Professor R.P. Vyas, Professor G.N. Sharma, Dr. M.S. Jain, Dr. A.L. Srivastava, Dr. N.R. Khadghawat, Shri R.S.Kapor, Shri N.N. Acharya, Shri L.P. Vaisya shaped an institution- Rajasthan History Congress. The Congress has been successfully organizing its session and publication of its ‘Proceedings’, contains, new ideas, new sources and new interpretation with every issue. The researchers here get an opportunity to explore their potential, share their ideas and establish their research.
